I studied computer science at Chico State University. My Lucky Day animation I lead and developed with my team for school, we received 1st place in California. Moreover, involved with other competitions such as programming contests and Anderson Consulting (1st place change in management).
While studying computer science, I obtained my EMT-1A license while volunteering for Search & Rescue. Moreover, worked with the county for emergency communications as I studied and have my amateur radio license (ham radio). KD6CUC
I returned to Silicon Valley for work at various companies such as Sun Microsystems, Yahoo!, Apple and currently working as a contractor in Mountain View.
I wanted to fulfill my dream to work for a railroad. I worked on weekends at Roaring Camp Railroad as a steam engine fireman. In 2004, I flipped careers to work full time for Union Pacific Railroad to become a heavy grade freight locomotive engineer. Enjoying the job of running freight trains over Donner Summit and through the Feather River Canyon and throughout California and into Nevada. I was running trains efficiently enough that I was getting about 862 miles per gallon per ton a freight. Trains are pretty efficient in comparison to trucks. In fact, railroads move about 40% of the freight in this nation, but only consume under 3% of the fuel for transportation.
When I purchased my home in New Almaden, I ended up with issues that resulted in learning so much about real estate, my broker told me to take my exam. His quote "You know more about real estate than most agents." I asked why. He said "You can write a college text book about real estate from what you went through. Anything that could go wrong in real estate, happened to you." Took that to heart and passed the exam first time based on experience alone. I've been working in the real estate world since 2007 helping people to not just sign documents, but understand what are their liabilities when purchasing a home. What are their responsibilities and rights (including when they can bargain, when they can get out of a contract if need by, etc). Protecting not only my clients, but both sides so everyone is content with no lawsuits. There is more about my experiences on my real estate website www.Tuka.NET .
In 2008, I legally applied to bring my future wife I met from Iran. Yes, immigration works just fine if you follow the laws. My father did it decades ago, and I did it also. My wife and I have been married since 2009 and have two children in Aptos, CA.
KEY WHY I'M RUNNING: Seeing my children and wanting to bring back common sense, protections and preserve freedom for America, I cannot sit and watch what has changed. This is one key reason I'm running. Stop complaining and lead forward to make our country better! Unite our country and our communities together. There is no left or right. There is forward together or we fail together falling backwards.
I returned to the world of high tech in 2012. My wife and I moved to Scotts Valley in 2019 and enjoy being involved. I have been coaching soccer for the kids teams for the past three years. I also have been playing soccer for the past three years at work both in competition and pick up games.
I'm still active in ham radio, playing soccer and appreciate the help from my family, friends and people around me. When my ideas resonate with my liberal, democrat and conservative friends, I've decided to run proudly to represent we the people. Bring back what we had in California. Bring back common sense. We are free, but not free to force upon others.
